The LUISS School of European Political Economy offers 4 full scholarships, 3 partial scholarships and 1 full scholarship plus a research grant
The LUISS School of European Political Economy (SEP) is offering (i) full and partial scholarships and (ii) a full grant sponsored by the European Investment Bank (EIB) to selected candidates who intend to pursue studies in the 2019-2020 edition of the Master Program in European Economic Governance (MEEG).
1. FULL AND PARTIAL SCHOLARSHIPS FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE 2019-2020 MASTER IN EUROPEAN ECONOMIC GOVERNANCE (MEEG)
LUISS SEP is offering 4 full exemption scholarships (8,000 EURO each) sponsored by Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (CDP) and Poste Italiane, and 3 partial exemption scholarships (4,000 EURO each) to selected candidates who intend to pursue studies in the 2019-2020 edition of the Master Program in European Economic Governance (MEEG).

The 3 partial exemption scholarships cover half the cost of tuition at a value of 4,000 EURO. The full exemption scholarships cover the total cost of tuition at a value of 8,000 EURO.
The specific requirements to apply for the scholarships are specified in detail in the Call for Proposal.
Deadline for submitting the scholarship application is June 14, 2019.
The uploaded application must include:
- Copy of an identity document;
- Graduate certificate with examinations and grades;
- Curriculum vitae including attestation of any periods of training abroad;
- Motivational letter in English;
- Any English language level attestation;
- Declaration of adherence to the scholarships.
SEP will notify by email each candidate if their application has been accepted. Please read the Call for Proposals for further information.
2. FULL SCHOLARSHIP PLUS A RESEARCH GRANT FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE 2019-2020 MASTER IN EUROPEAN ECONOMIC GOVERNANCE (MEEG) (expired!)
LUISS SEP is offering 1 full exemption scholarship plus a research grant (for a total of 22,400 EURO) subject to the European Investment Bank’s (EIB) approval. The candidate, selected by SEP and approved by EIB, will also have to pursue studies in the 2019-2020 edition of the Master Program in European Economic Governance (MEEG) and meet the requirements of this call.

The full exemption scholarship (full grant hereafter) covers the total cost of tuition at a value of 8,000 EURO plus an additional grant of 14,400 EURO gross to cover living expenses during the period of the Master starting from January 2020. The holder of the full grant will be employed, for 12 months, as temporary researcher at the EIB in order to complete a research project which he/she must have submitted as a requirement of the application (see Art. 3 below). Her/his appointment will last up to December 2020. During this period, he/she will have to follow an introductory course on the EIB organization, attend the two terms of the Master and spend a 6-month internship period at the EIB headquarters in Luxembourg.

Deadline for submitting the scholarship application is March 15, 2019.
The uploaded application must include:
- Copy of an identity document;
- Graduate certificate with examinations and grades;
- Curriculum vitae including attestation of any periods of training abroad;
- Motivational letter in English;
- One recommendation letter specific to the MEEG dated no earlier than February 1, 2019 to be sent to sep@luiss.it;
- Any English language level attestation;
- Declaration of adherence to the scholarships.
On this basis, the MEEG Selection Committee will short-list 2 candidates who will be asked to prepare a research proposal (around 3,500 words) on a topic that will constitute the focus of their research project. Please read the Call for Proposals for further information.
